Miles Jeppson Brings 'GREEN' Era Concert to Hurricane's Historic Grafton Building

Free indie rock performance celebrates new album with intimate community gathering on May 2nd

Get ready to experience the vibrant sounds of indie rock as Hurricane welcomes Miles Jeppson for a free concert celebrating his new 'GREEN' era on Friday, May 2nd at the historic Grafton Building. This highly anticipated performance marks the first major concert event of spring in Washington County and promises an unforgettable evening of music under the stars.

Miles Jeppson, the rising indie artist whose soulful vocals and introspective lyrics have captured audiences across the western United States, will showcase material from his latest album alongside fan favorites from his growing catalog. The 'GREEN' era represents a new chapter in Jeppson's musical journey, exploring themes of growth, renewal, and connection to the natural world—concepts that resonate deeply with Southern Utah's outdoor-loving community.

Performing in places like Hurricane is what music is all about for me. These are communities where people genuinely care about art and culture, where folks come together not because it's trendy, but because they love music. I'm honored to bring the 'GREEN' era to a place surrounded by such incredible natural beauty.

The concert, hosted by the Hurricane Arts Council in partnership with local sponsors, is completely free to attend thanks to community support and grants dedicated to bringing quality cultural programming to smaller cities in the region. Organizers expect a crowd of 500+ music lovers from across Washington County and beyond.

The Grafton Building, a beautifully restored historic venue in downtown Hurricane, provides an intimate setting that's perfect for Jeppson's style of performance. With its excellent acoustics and charming architectural details, the space creates a connection between performer and audience that's often lost in larger concert halls.

We're so excited to host Miles. He's exactly the kind of artist we want to bring to our community—talented, authentic, and committed to creating meaningful experiences rather than just putting on a show. This concert is going to be something special.

Opening acts will include local musicians from the St. George and Cedar City music scenes, giving up-and-coming artists a chance to perform before a larger audience. Food vendors will be on-site starting at 5 PM, with the music beginning at 6:30 PM. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for outdoor seating, though limited covered seating will be available inside the Grafton Building.

While the concert is free, the Arts Council will accept donations to support future programming and help cover production costs. Merchandise from Miles Jeppson's 'GREEN' era will also be available for purchase, with a portion of proceeds benefiting local arts education initiatives.

As spring blooms across Southern Utah and the weather becomes perfect for outdoor events, the Miles Jeppson concert represents the kind of community gathering that makes small-town life special. It's an evening where neighbors become friends, music connects strangers, and everyone remembers why they love calling this corner of Utah home.

For more information about the concert and other upcoming events at the Grafton Building, visit the Hurricane Arts Council website or follow them on social media. And mark your calendars now—this free concert on May 2nd is not to be missed!
