In 2020 alone, more than $18,000 was channeled into community initiatives by the Southern Utah Home Builders Care Foundation, with a further $11,500 dedicated solely to student scholarships.

 

The Southern Utah Home Builders Association (SUHBA) also contributed over 94 hours in direct service, supporting local nonprofits with essential repairs during their Summer of Service campaign.

 

The annual Charity Golf Tournament proves equally impactful, raising over $27,500 to help students pursue careers in construction.

 

Beyond giving, the Parade encourages sustainability, with recent homes featuring advanced, energy-efficient designs.

Hike the Red Hills Desert Garden at sunset for breathtaking views of the city and surrounding landscapes.

Utah Tech University students will connect with St. George neighbors through the annual ‘Campus to Community’ service event on March 1.

 

Student volunteers will offer free outdoor services — including gardening, yard work, painting, and window washing — to locations within three miles of campus.

 

Residents can request assistance by February 22, after which Utah Tech’s Service Branch will visit sites to determine project feasibility.
