The vibrant city of St. George is set to host the much-anticipated 10th Annual St. George Jazz Festival on January 30–31, 2026.
This milestone event promises two days filled with live jazz performances, student showcases, competitions, and enriching educational sessions.
The festival's highlight is the showcase concert scheduled for Saturday, January 31, at 7:30 PM at the Desert Hills High School Auditorium.
Attendees will be treated to an unforgettable performance by the internationally acclaimed alto saxophonist Miguel Zenón, accompanied by the renowned Rebel Jazz Band.

Miguel Zenón is celebrated for his innovative fusion of Latin American folkloric traditions with modern jazz.
His impressive accolades include a Grammy Award, Doris Duke Artist recognition, and fellowships from both the Guggenheim and MacArthur Foundations.
Zenón's unique approach has solidified his status as one of the most influential saxophonists and composers of his generation.
In addition to his performance, Zenón will conduct a free clinic for festival participants and community members on Saturday at 12:30 PM at Desert Hills High School.
This session offers a rare opportunity for attendees to gain insights from a master musician.
The festival kicks off on Friday, January 30, with a high school jazz combo competition hosted by the St. George Jazz All-Stars.
This free event begins at 7:30 PM in the Concert Hall at the Eccles Fine Arts Center on the Utah Tech University campus.
Throughout the day on Saturday, high school and middle school bands from regions spanning Las Vegas to Logan will perform as part of the adjudicated festival.
Selected student musicians will also have the honor of appearing during the showcase concert.
The mission of the St. George Jazz Festival is to preserve, perpetuate, and foster appreciation for jazz music through concerts, festivals, and educational opportunities in Southern Utah and its surrounding areas.
Desert Hills High School, located at 828 Desert Hills Dr. E, St. George, offers free parking and is fully ADA compliant, ensuring accessibility for all attendees.
