New labyrinth offers path to healing at St. George Children’s Justice Center

A new labyrinth now winds through the Peace Garden at the Washington County Children’s Justice Center

A new labyrinth now winds through the Peace Garden at the Washington County Children’s Justice Center, offering a place for reflection, healing and support for children and families served by the center.

The labyrinth was unveiled during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 27, the result of a community-driven effort led by the St. George Sunrise Rotary Club.

“I am touched at the tremendous thought, planning and love that have gone into this project,” Kristy Pike, director of the Washington County Children’s Justice Center, told St. George News. “The work we do here at the CJC can be heavy. The labyrinth reminds us that there are caring people in our community who want the very best for children. It serves as a reminder of the good in the world.”

Pike said the Rotary Club has been a longtime supporter of the center, highlighting the alignment between the organization’s mission and the Children’s Justice Center's work.
