Red Bull Rampage Celebrates 25 Years of Freeride in Southern Utah |
Rider lineup and livestream details for Red Bull Rampage |

On the cliffs outside Virgin, Utah, the difference between a daring idea and a rideable line can be a few inches of dirt shaped by hand.
That challenge brings 2026 Red Bull Rampage back near St. George for its 20th edition, 25 years after the contest began.
The women’s competition was scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8, with the men set to ride Saturday, Oct. 10.
For southwestern Utah, Rampage puts a familiar landscape in an unfamiliar light: the steep desert slopes become a stage for decisions most people would not dare consider.
Unlike a conventional race, riders and two-person dig crews choose and build individual routes through natural drops, exposed ridges and narrow chutes.
There is no single safe-looking answer to the mountain, and that freedom makes every run a test of judgment as well as nerve.
The 2026 Red Bull Rampage riders include defending champions, returning contenders and newcomers across both fields.
Two-time women’s champion Robin Goomes leads a 12-rider lineup that also includes Georgia Astle, Hannah Bergemann and Cami Nogueira.
The women’s contest is entering its third year, a reminder of how quickly opportunities at the highest level of freeride have expanded.
More riders now have a chance to interpret the mountain on competition day, rather than watch from the sidelines.
On the men’s side, defending champion Hayden Zablotny returns after winning as a first-time Rampage competitor in 2025.
His 18-rider field includes Thomas Genon, Tom Van Steenbergen, Reed Boggs and Cam Zink, among others.
Some competitors favor enormous drops, while others bring technical tricks or unexpected line choices to the cliffs.
That variety is part of the appeal: even riders starting near one another can produce strikingly different descents.
For viewers seeking the 2026 Red Bull Rampage livestream, both competitions were scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Mountain Time on their respective days.
The women’s broadcast was scheduled for Oct. 8, while the men’s is scheduled for Oct. 10 through the event’s official video broadcasts.
Because mountain conditions can affect the schedule, viewers should check the broadcast time before settling in.
Saturday, October 10, at 10 a.m. Mountain Time on Red Bull TV and the Red Bull Bike YouTube channel.
The final run lasts only moments, but each line reflects days of digging, testing and difficult calls on exposed terrain. |

Watching from here in St George is honestly a point of pride. Not many places can say something like Rampage happens basically in their backyard.
Thomas Genon has been doing this forever and still right there competing at the top level. Respect to him.
Frank DelucaHe makes it look almost calm out there too, which is insane given what he's riding. Longevity like that in freeride is pretty rare.
The fact that riders pick their own lines is what makes this so different from any other competition. Every run is basically unique.
gina_utRight, and two riders can start from basically the same spot and end up on completely different paths. That's wild when you think about it.
Red Bull TV is free to watch right? Just want to make sure before I plan my whole Saturday around it.
20th edition is a big deal. Hard to believe this contest has been going on that long. Time flies.
Reed Boggs is so fun to watch. His line choices are always different from everyone else. Can't wait to see what he builds.
canyoncountry_fanHis runs always feel like he found some secret part of the mountain nobody else even looked at. Really hoping he gets a good dig spot this year.
Good heads up about checking the schedule before you watch. Wind delays have messed up my viewing plans before.
Jess W.Yeah the wind out there can come out of nowhere. I learned that lesson watching a couple years ago, sat down ready to go and nothing happened for like two hours.
I drove past Virgin on a road trip once and looked at those cliffs and thought nobody would ever ride down that. Then I found out about Rampage. Still can't believe it.
Mike EatonSame reaction here. I grew up near St. George and those cliffs just look like death from the road. Seeing them actually ride it on video the first time genuinely made my jaw drop.
Those dig crews honestly deserve more credit. Days of work for one run down the mountain. Crazy dedication.
rachelle.dSeriously. Two people digging for days just so their rider gets one shot at it. And if something goes wrong on the run, all that work just sits there on the mountain.
Cam Zink and Tom Van Steenbergen in the same field is already enough reason to tune in. Saturday is gonna be good.
Paul N.Genon being in that field too makes it even better. That whole group together on those cliffs is going to be something else.
The women's competition being in its third year already is so cool to see. It feels like it grew fast.
Kim_87It really did grow fast. I remember when they announced it and now it already has two-time champions. Feels like it found its footing quickly.
Hayden winning last year as a first timer was insane. Would love to see him defend but that field is stacked.
Anyone know if there are good spots to watch in person or is it basically just the livestream situation?
Robin Goomes is an absolute beast. Two time champ and she just keeps getting better. Rooting hard for her Thursday.
Grew up in Virgin and never thought our little town would be known for something like this. Pretty wild to see it on the world stage every year.
