City Honors Nation's 250th Anniversary with Commemorative Event |
On January 29, 2026, the city of Santa Clara, Utah, initiated its America 250 celebrations with a heartfelt plaque unveiling ceremony at Town Hall.
The event, held from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, featured inspiring patriotic music and remarks from Mayor Jarett Waite.
A highlight of the evening was the unveiling of a historic plaque by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), commemorating the nation's 250th anniversary.
Local choirs and community organizations participated, with light refreshments provided by the Santa Clara City Youth Council.
This ceremony marked the beginning of a series of events planned throughout the year to honor America's rich history and the contributions of its citizens.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to participate in upcoming activities, including monthly lectures and community events, as Santa Clara continues to celebrate this significant milestone.
