Southwest Symphony announces new concert season, newly renovated America First Performing Arts Center

The symphony invites the community to a historic night

The Southwest Symphony is set to launch its eagerly anticipated 2026-2027 concert season, marking a significant milestone with the grand reopening of the newly renovated America First Performing Arts Center in St. George, Utah.

After extensive renovations, the America First Performing Arts Center now boasts an expanded lobby, enhanced rehearsal spaces, and upgraded amenities designed to enrich the audience experience. These improvements reflect a commitment to fostering a vibrant cultural scene in St. George.

In recent years, St. George has experienced remarkable growth, emerging as one of the fastest-growing metro areas in the United States. This surge has been accompanied by a flourishing arts community, with the symphony playing a pivotal role in this cultural renaissance.

The upcoming season promises a diverse repertoire, blending classical masterpieces with contemporary works, aiming to captivate both longtime patrons and new audiences. The symphony's dedication to musical excellence continues to be a cornerstone of St. George's cultural identity.

Ahead of its upcoming concert season, the symphony invites the community to a historic night celebrating a new chapter for the arts in Southern Utah. An open house for the reimagined venue will be held on Friday, June 5, where attendees can tour the venue, select their seats in person and purchase their season tickets. The doors open to new subscribers at 7 p.m. Tickets for the open house are free but required to attend; click here to RSVP and receive your tickets.
