St. George Rotary's Annual Orange Sale Fuels Community and Global Initiatives

The St. George Rotary Club is once again offering its renowned California navel oranges to the community, with sales directly funding both local and international service projects.

 

These sweet, easy-to-peel oranges are available in full cases for $58, half cases for $34, and quarter cases for $23. Orders can be placed through any Rotary member, with delivery anticipated around Valentine's Day.

 

Over the past five years, this initiative has raised over $1,000, contributing to various causes, including the construction of stoves in Guatemalan villages. The club aims to build an additional 125 stoves during their upcoming trip from June 1-8, 2024.

 

In addition to international efforts, the Rotary Club remains committed to local projects. Recent endeavors include supporting the St. George Art Festival, which attracted 30,000 attendees and unveiled a new piece in the city's permanent collection.
