Chamber Music Festival in St George |
Featuring a classical music concert and piano quintet performance |

The highly anticipated chamber music festival is set to return to St. George, drawing classical music lovers from across Southern Utah.
This annual tradition transforms the Dolores Dore Eccles Fine Arts Center into a haven for refined melodies and world-class artistry.
Residents are abuzz with excitement as leading international musicians prepare to showcase their talent in the heart of the red rocks.
This year's event features a striking evolution in its programming, with the centerpiece being a robust piano quintet performance that promises to leave audiences spellbound.
Recent reports hint at increased community interest in classical music events, with ticket demand already on the rise for this festival.
The evening will deliver a rich setlist, including cherished favorites by Mozart and Schumann, before culminating in the dramatic Brahms quintet.
Organizers believe this classical music concert will both inspire local talent and attract visitors who appreciate intimate chamber experiences.
Longtime attendees describe the festival as a refreshing contrast to larger, more commercial musical offerings in the area.
With recent growth in St. George’s arts scene and new galleries opening nearby, the festival comes at a pivotal moment.
Some residents see this as a signal that the city's cultural profile is rising, while others are eager to introduce younger audiences to the subtle joys of chamber music.
The fact that student admission is free at the door adds to the inclusive spirit of the festival and demonstrates a commitment to engaging the next generation.

The Brahms F minor quintet is one of the greatest pieces ever written. Anyone on the fence should just go.
classical_nerd_utahCompletely agree. The second movement alone is worth the drive from wherever you are. Do not sleep on this one.
I always forget about this until the last minute and then tickets are gone. Setting a reminder right now.
Sandra M.Same thing happens to me every year. The free student tickets at the door are great but general admission goes fast. Good call on the reminder.
Good to see the city investing in culture and not just more pickleball courts.
Dave OstlerHa, fair point. Nothing against pickleball but it is nice to see the arts getting some love too.
Chamber music is so underrated. Way more personal than a big orchestra concert. You can hear every little detail.
Hope they open the doors early this time. Parking on 700 East fills up fast.
The red rocks backdrop and then sitting in a concert hall for Brahms is honestly such a St George experience. Love this city.
Natalie CruzRight? You spend the afternoon hiking Snow Canyon and then end the night with Brahms. Hard to beat that combo honestly.
Took my kids last year and they actually liked it. Give it a chance before you assume your kids will hate it.
27 dollars is very reasonable for live classical music. Some places charge triple that.
Carol W.Seriously. I paid way more than that for a concert in Salt Lake last spring and the venue was not even this nice.
International musicians is a pretty vague term. Would be nice to know who is actually performing before buying tickets.
skeptical_steve_sgThat is a fair point. Checking the Utah Tech or festival website might have more details. I looked it up last year and they had bios listed closer to the date.
My daughter plays violin at Utah Tech so we try to make it to everything at the Eccles center. Looking forward to this one.
Mozart and Schumann and then Brahms to close it out. Solid program honestly.
Glad to see St George getting more of this kind of thing. The arts scene here has really picked up lately.
Karen H.The new galleries opening up nearby are a good sign too. Feels like it is all starting to come together for the arts community here.
Brahms piano quintet is no joke. That piece alone is worth the $27.
Free tickets for students is a great move. Wish they did that when I was in school.
Been going to this every year and it never disappoints. The Eccles center is such a perfect spot for chamber music.
Linda P.The acoustics in that hall are really underrated. I noticed it the first time I went and it made such a difference.
