Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum
We are a Pioneer Museum with photos, artifacts and histories of early settlers in Washington County, UT. Owned by the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
Brigham and Amelia Young Home Museum
President Brigham Young lived in this home in St. George, Utah, during the winter months from 1870 to 1877. The adjacent office was built to facilitate the work of preparing the sealing and endowment temple ordinances for the dead, conducted for the first time in the St. George Utah Temple. The home and adjacent office have been restored and furnished to reflect their 1870s appearance. Tours tell about Brigham Young’s family life in St. George and about his role in directing the settlement of southern Utah, including the construction of the St. George Utah Temple.
Rosenbruch World Wildlife Museum Museum
The Rosenbruch World Wildlife Museum highlights animals from around the world, set in their natural habitats. The goal of the museum is to educate visitors about the importance of respecting wildlife and conservation. Nearly all the animals in the exhibits were donated by Jimmie C. Rosenbruch and his family. Worldwide Government Wildlife Agencies administered licenses and permits to the Rosenbruchs to obtain nearly 300 species collected over a lifetime.
