Russell J. Butterfield, MD, PhD, is a Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Pediatrics at University of Utah Health. He specializes in pediatric neuromuscular disorders with an emphasis on childhood-onset muscular dystrophies. Dr. Butterfield completed an MD and PhD at the University of Illinois, residency in pediatric neurology at the University of Utah, and an MDA-sponsored fellowship in neuromuscular disorders.
